Things are starting to look very good for Wolverhampton Wanderers in their chase for Celta de Vigo star Jørgen Strand Larsen.
On Thursday, we covered reports from Italy which said AS Roma can’t compete with Wolves for the signing, as the Molineux side reportedly offered €30m.
Now as Marca features a story on the situation, they claim that Celta are actually accelerating to get the sale done.
It’s claimed they need to make a sale this summer, hopefully before the end of June, and Larsen is their biggest chance of cashing in.
Wolves have shown ‘special interest’ in the player recently and have ‘some advantage’ over other competitors for the signing.
Larsen reportedly never hid his interest in leaving the club for the Premier League, and the Spanish side are keen on finding a deal in the coming days.
The story claims that Celta set the player’s price at €30m, so in case the reports about Wolves’ offer are true, then they could be very close to a deal.
