With Alfredo Morelos expected to leave Rangers this summer, the fight to sign him is only getting bigger.
The 26-year-old’s contract with the Scottish Premiership side is expiring next month, and with the decision to leave as a free agent, he’s set to have many options to choose from.
According to German journalist Dominik Schneider, clubs from the ‘upper third’ of the Bundesliga are now interested in the Rangers player.
Schneider says it’s ‘numerous’ German clubs who are in contact for Morelos, so we can expect his table to be full of offers in the coming weeks.
Those sides are now set to join the likes of Fenerbahce and Sevilla, who already had their chase reported and now get their pursuit confirmed by this story.
With 12 goals and seven assists this season, Morelos may not have had his best season for Rangers, but his free exit is certainly a plus to draw big interest for his signing.
The Colombian striker joined Rangers in the summer of 2017, and in those six years at the club, he has a record of 124 goals and 58 assists in 268 appearances, having won the title in 2021.
