Nottingham Forest have been working on signing Juventus duo Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula and recent claims from Italy have stated the two clubs are close to reaching an agreement.

Two days ago, Tuttosport reported Nottingham Forest’s operations aren’t taking off as the duo aren’t keen on joining them.

Saturday’s edition of Corriere dello Sport states Juve general manager Damien Comolli must find a solution for Weah and Mbangula.

Badou Sambague, the 25-year-old American’s agent, said his client won’t be pushed out of the Serie A club.

“No one will push one of my players to go play left or right like a puppet. I am happy that Tim has the personality to stay focused on the games. It’s a disgrace. Weah is a fantastic player and a fantastic teammate: seeing people behave like this for money and selfishness has disappointed me a lot,” he said.

The newspaper claims the agent’s comments were in reference to Juve’s efforts to sell his client [and Mbangula] to Nuno Espírito Santo’s side for €30m.

They state Comolli has a basic agreement in place with Nottingham Forest and the details have to be ironed out. The Premier League side, for their part, are ‘waiting’ to find out how things unfold.

For now, Weah isn’t keen on a move to Nottingham Forest, while AFC Bournemouth have made a move for Mbangula. The Reds have to convince the duo in order to sign them this summer.
