Nottingham Forest have included Sporting’s Rúben Vinagre in their target list, according to O Jogo on Saturday.
Steve Cooper’s side are in the market for a new left-back/wing-back in the summer transfer window.
On Friday, AS reported Nottingham Forest made a €5m bid for Álex Moreno, but it was rejected by Real Betis as they value their player at €18-20m.
This is relayed by the Portuguese newspaper today and Betis’ rejection has seen the newly promoted Premier League side look at the former Wolves man.
Fulham had initially showed interest in the 23-year-old, but they decided to abandon the negotiation. The Lions are now willing to let the fullback go out on a loan deal this summer.
Nottingham Forest see this situation as an ‘interesting possibility to complete the deal’ for Vinagre, where they will take care of his wages and pay a loan fee of €1m to seal the transfer.
The Portuguese wing-back considers England ‘a good chance’ for his career, after his time at Wolves.
