Orel Mangala is undergoing his medical with Nottingham Forest today after they struck a deal with VfB Stuttgart.

That’s according to BILD, who back up other reports from Germany about a deal being impending between the two clubs.

Earlier today we covered reports from various German journalists that stated Nottingham Forest were closing in on Mangala although nothing was confirmed.

BILD go one step further and say Nottingham Forest have the 24-year-old ‘in the bag’ and the last details of the move were clarified last night.

Mangala was still with Stuttgart for training yesterday but is due to undergo a medical at some point today.

He will become the latest player to make the move from the Bundesliga to Nottingham Forest this summer, joining the likes of Taiwo Awoniyi, Moussa Niakhaté and Omar Richards in making the switch.

He will join in a €15m fee plus bonuses according to the newspaper once his medical is completed at some point today.
