Nottingham Forest will accept to meet Benfica’s request for the transfer of Odysseas Vlachodimos, according to the latest reports from Portugal.
Mais Futebol says that with the Eagles demanding €10m for the sale, the Reds are ready to pay that amount.
Nottingham Forest won’t be spending €10m at once, though. It’s claimed that their offer consists of €5m up front plus €5m in performance bonuses.
That formula may sound like a problem for most people who follow the market, but that’s apparently not for Benfica. Mais Futebol says that total amount ‘pleases’ the Lisbon side, and they now wait for the direct negotiation between the Tricky Trees and Vlachodimos.
The story claims that Nottingham Forest are in a hurry to get the signing done, especially because they have already failed in attempts for other options they had.
As said by the Portuguese media this morning, an agreement between the Tricky Trees and Benfica never seemed like a problem, even though this information about 50% of the amount being in bonuses is completely new.
Now what Nottingham Forest need to work on is to convince the player, as he apparently prefers other destinations.
