Nottingham Forest have come forward to sign Bologna’s Nicolás Dominguez, according to a report from Argentina.
The defensive midfielder was a regular for the Serie A side last season, featuring 34 times in all competitions. He has managed to garner interest from several clubs, including the Tricky Trees.
TyC Sports state the Italian club’s leaders ‘take note’ of the interest shown by Nottingham Forest and Galatasaray in the 25-year-old.
It’s claimed Steve Cooper’s side and the Turkish champions have both made offers and are battling it out to sign the Argentina international.
The report makes no mention of the fee offered by these two clubs but they do state the Argentina international is valued at around €20m.
His deal expires in 2024 and Bologna have to make a decision on whether or not to sell him if the bids from Nottingham Forest and Galatasaray are less than €20m.
TyC Sport also state Brighton & Hove Albion and AC Milan had earlier made contact over a potential deal for the South American. However, these two clubs have yet to table a bid so far.
