Always linked to new goalkeepers, Nottingham Forest seem to have a new one on their list.
According to Brazilian outlet UOL, the Reds are now following Gil Vicente’s Andrew Ventura.
It’s said Nottingham Forest, as well as Feyenoord, made an approach for the 22-year-old, without placing official bids so far.
Something interesting in this story is that it’s claimed it was the Portuguese club who tried to get ‘into more details’ with the interested clubs about a summer transfer.
For now, there’s no information on how much Andrew would cost. He arrived at Gil Vicente on a free move from Botafogo in 2021, and is now valued by Transfermarkt at €2.5m.
UOL isn’t the only Brazilian outlet reporting Nottingham Forest’s interest in the player, with website Premier League Brasil backing up the interest.
The Reds had Matt Turner, Mats Selz and Odysseas Vlachodimos join the club this season, and if they’re going for a young option, that’s surely because someone else is on the way out.
