Nottingham Forest have included VfB Stuttgart’s Josha Vagnoman in their transfer target list for the summer window.

That’s according to Kicker, and they state Nottingham Forest are keen on the 24-year-old.

With Nottingham Forest interested, both the right-back and Stuttgart feel it’s best to part ways in the coming weeks or months.

The one-time Germany international has played 2,475 minutes from 35 games this season and has a contract lasting until 2026.

Kicker say there’s an emotionally close bond between the defender and Stuttgart manager Sebastian Hoeneß, but that won’t be enough to stop his exit.

The fullback is one of the lowest paid players at the club and isn’t open to renewing his contract. The German club are also not in favour of offering an extension due to his injury record.

In addition to this, Stuttgart have identified Lorenz Assignon as his replacement and talks are underway with Stade Rennais. These are the multiple reasons why Vagnoman could be sold this summer.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s side are the only interested party mentioned in the report. They can take advantage of Vagnoman’s contract situation, and Stuttgart wanting a sale, to sign him for an affordable price.
