According to a claim in the Turkish media, Nottingham Forest are still showing interest in Galatasaray forward Barış Alper Yılmaz ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old was linked with the Premier League side last summer following claims they made an attempt to sign the Turkey international late in the window.
Sabah today report on the latest developments regarding the future of Yılmaz and they say the right winger could end up in the English top flight ahead of next season.
It’s claimed Nottingham Forest, along with West Ham United are in the race to sign the attacker, but it would need to offer at least €30m to convince Galatasaray to sell. The Turkish media outlet report the player is keen on a move a major European league.
However, recent reports said the Super Lig side wanted €35m for Yılmaz after again impressing in the Super Lig this season.
Yılmaz has made 29 appearances for Gala this season, scoring 11 goals. He’s contracted to the Super Lig leaders until June 2027, but it seems Cimbom could look to cash in on him this summer if the right offer comes in.
