Nottingham Forest and Brentford have included Flamengo’s Pedro in their target list for the summer window.
The striker has starred this year, scoring 25 goals and registering four assists from 33 games.
According to Goal in Brazil, the 26-year-old has received polls form Nottingham Forest and Brentford. It’s said these contacts, which are at an initial stage, have not been converted into a formal offer so far.
Pedro’s deal lasts until December 2027. Both the Tricky Trees and Thomas Frank’s side are aware it won’t be easy to convince the Brazilian club to part ways with their star.
Having earlier declared Pedro non-transferable, the report states Flamengo have now softened their stance. They haven’t closed the door to selling the Brazil international in this window but would need a fee above €30m to start negotiations.
Pedro, who had a short spell at Fiorentina during the 2019/20 season, ‘welcomes a return’ to Europe, but needs a convincing sporting project.
To sum it up, Nottingham Forest and Brentford can sign the South American if they offer a good project to the player and meet Flamengo’s demand.
