Loïc Badé’s potential move from Nottingham Forest to Sevilla is advancing following ‘significant progress’ in negotiations in the last few hours.

That’s according to AS, who advance on a report from yesterday that stated Badé was set to end his loan spell at Nottingham Forest.

The 22-year-old joined Forest on loan from Rennes in the summer but has failed to make a single appearance for Steven Cooper’s side this season.

A report yesterday made it clear he was set to be sent back to France as a result, with a move to Sevilla set for right after it.

The Spanish side are looking for a replacement for Marcao, who is out injured for three months, leaving a hole in Jorge Sampaoli’s side that will need to be filled.

There has now been ‘significant progress in the last hours’ in the talks between Sevilla and Rennes for the defender.

He is set to join them on loan with an option to buy, the same formula that the French club had negotiated in the summer with Nottingham Forest.

That move has not been as good as anyone expected and that is why he will now be ‘packing his bags’ for the Andalusian capital, where he is ‘set to be’ Sevilla’s ‘first winter signing.’
