With Gabriel Jesus picking up a rather serious injury during the World Cup, Arsenal have been left with a big question mark up front.

The Gunners bought the Brazilian to help with the losses of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, and it worked wonders during the first half of the season, as they entered the break first in the Premier League, five points ahead of their next competitor.

Losing their star man up front, however, is a big problem, which is why we are seeing Arsenal linked with strikers ahead of January.

One of the more recurring options of late has been Dušan Vlahović, whom the Emirates side know well from last year, when they tried to sign him from Fiorentina.

He eventually turned Arsenal down in favour of Juventus, where things haven’t exactly gone to plan, as the club as a whole have underperformed under Max Allegri.

This, mixed with all the off the pitch issues currently affecting the Serie A side, has forced the player’s agent to look around, just in case the right exit door opens.

That’s what Corriere dello Sport are reporting on Tuesday, explaining that most of the attention in the Serbia international comes from the Premier League.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are all mentioned, and they recall the Gunners’ previous attempt to sign him.

When it comes to Mikel Arteta’s side, it’s said they have been ‘called to go all-in’ to win the Premier League, but are forced to do so without Jesus.

This is why they are keen on Vlahović, and it’s made clear that his refusal ‘last year has already been forgotten’.

As for how much Juventus would want, it’s said that to get their ‘attention’, an offer of ‘no less than €90m’ will be needed.

Whether Arsenal are prepared to offer that, however, remains to be seen, especially midway through a campaign.
