Orel Mangala’s transfer from Nottingham Forest to Napoli suddenly became a little saga, as the Reds are being tough in talks.
Now even the intermediary who’s working on this deal has come out to talk about the situation.
Speaking to Si Gonfia La Rete, and quoted by Area Napoli, Enrico Sposato started by confirming that Napoli are working to find a deal with Nottingham Forest.
“A player like Mangala, as I see it, could do very well at Napoli, he wants Italy so much. There is the possibility of finding a solution that is good for everyone, at the moment there is a stalemate. Napoli’s interest is real, but there must be all the conditions for the deal to go through.”
“The boy appreciates the piazza both socially and technically, at the moment everything is still at a standstill, but the negotiations can be unblocked at any moment. Where can he play? Mangala is an all-round midfielder because he has quality and quantity. He spends a lot of time both defensively and offensively. The player’s desire to arrive in Italy is there,”
Reports from the weekend claimed that Nottingham Forest are making things ‘very difficult’, as they’re not keen on seeing Mangala go in the middle of the season.
The player, however, is said to already have an agreement with Napoli, and is now just hoping that the clubs can get to a deal.
The Serie A side are reportedly trying to sign Mangala on a loan deal, paying €5m, and then want the option to buy him for €25m.
It’s been said that Mangala’s main reason to leave is the lack of a sequence as a starter in Nuno Espírito Santo’s side.
