Napoli are today getting some good and bad news in their chase for Nottingham Forest midfielder Orel Mangala.

The latest updates come from Belgium, where journalist Sacha Tavolieri claims that the player has agreed personal terms with the Serie A side.

The big problem is that Nottingham Forest are said to be making things ‘very difficult’, as they want to keep the player in their squad.

The negotiations seem to be getting quite intense, as earlier today, Tavolieri had already highlighted the ‘pressure’ that Napoli are putting on for the signing.

Their offer was said to be for a loan, for which they’d pay €5m, plus an option to buy for €25m.

Since Mangala hasn’t been regularly used as a starter by Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espírito Santo, it’s said he’s keen on the move, and that’s why he already agreed to the personal terms.

So it just remains to be seen whether the Reds will take the offer. Maybe if the Serie A side were trying for a straight permanent deal, the negotiations would have been more simple.
