Marco Silva insists he’s committed to Fulham amid recent claims linking him to other clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur.

On Sunday, Fulham suffered a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea in the league. After the tie, Silva had a chat with DAZN in Portugal and A Bola have relayed his comments.

Ange Postecoglou is currently in charge at Tottenham but his future beyond this season still needs to be clarified.

Spurs are 16th in the table and can climb to 12th if they were to beat Nottingham Forest later today. This has seen Tottenham reportedly look a few candidates to replace Ange Postecoglou and Silva is said to be their list.

A Bola now points out the Fulham manager has been linked to Tottenham and others. The forward Watford manager has a contract with the London club until 2026 and claims he’s only thinking about Fulham.

“My head is at Fulham. We don’t control everything that happens around us. It’s not part of me,” he said.

“With such important games week after week, our total focus is here and we control what we can, which is preparing the players for the next games.”

Fulham are ninth in the table, trailing seventh placed Aston Villa by nine points. With five league games left in this season, Marcos Silva’s side are unlikely to qualify for Europe next season.

On the remaining fixtures, Silva explained: “The goal is for us to fight. Further or not, we have five finals to fight for, and we will fight. There is no turning back.”
