Maximo Perrone was loaned out to Como by Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
The Italian side have no option to buy the player permanently, with the midfielder having played 13 times in the Serie A so far this season.
He hasn’t been a regular under Cesc Fabregas but that is largely down to an injury that kept him out at the turn of the year.
As things stand, Perrone will go back to the Etihad at the end of the season and he was asked about his future and his plans at Como and Manchester City.
He told Calcioline that he has no interest in returning to the English champions, as he is enjoying life in Italy.
“There are agents, representatives, I don’t know anything. As far as I’m concerned, I want to stay here, grow and learn more with Como.
“I want to give a hand to my teammates and I’m happy to stay with Cesc. I have an excellent relationship with him. I hope my future is here with Como.”
This suggests that Fabregas values Perrone’s traits a lot and the midfielder could play more games regularly as the season goes on.
The Argentine has made only two appearances for Manchester City and they came in the 2022/23 season. He is currently 22-years-old and his development will only progress if he plays regular first-team football.
