Galatasaray’s interest in Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey seems to be increasing by the day, with considerable action seemingly being taken behind the scenes.

A fresh update on this chase comes from Takvim, who claims that the Turkish side should soon make an effort for his signing.

The Arsenal player said to be ‘very much wanted’ by Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk, and the coach asked the club to ‘make an offer’ for his transfer in the coming weeks.

The management is said to be ‘investigating’ the situation for now, as they ‘decided’ to make a loan offer for him.

The funny thing is that this pursuit has to do with the situation of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, who has been having a poor season at Galatasaray, forcing the club to go after other signings for their midfield.

Partey is nearly forgotten at Arsenal this season, as he made five appearances and hasn’t played for the club since early October.

So it’s hard to imagine that Mikel Arteta and the Gunners will put many obstacles in the negotiation, unless their preference is to push for a permanent move as early as January.
