Last week, Gazzetta di Parma reported Millwall’s €16m demand for Mihailo Ivanovic was forcing Parma to pursue other targets.

The Italian side’s initial offer for the striker was low and there were signs that the London club could now keep the player.

ParmaToday report that there is still a chance of Millwall losing Ivanovic this summer.

The Serbian ‘remains the dream’ target for Parma, who have not yet given up hope of landing him.

The fee demanded by Millwall is still too high but Parma are now relying on the key sale of Simon Sohm to help them sign Ivanovic.

Parma held talks with Fiorentina last week for the Swede’s sale and further talks will take place next week, as they look to close in on an agreement. The midfielder’s current valuation is €15m.

Once that move goes through, money earned will be used to sign Millwall’s 20-year-old star, who scored 12 Championship goals last season. At least that’s the plan.

Ivanovic joined the Lions from Vojvodina in the summer of 2024 for only €3m and his potential sale will hand Alex Neil’s side a major capital profit.
