A week ago, Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg stated Arsenal are monitoring Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch.
The Netherlands international arrived at the Bavarian club from Ajax last summer and hasn’t managed to enjoy regular game time this season. His situation also hasn’t improved since Thomas Tuchel replaced Julian Nagelsmann last month.
Lack of minutes at Bayern has attracted attention of Arsenal and a few other clubs. That’s according to Fussball Transfers, who state the 20-year-old is in ‘flirting mode’ as his camp take necessary steps to sort out his future.
It’s explained the midfielder’s entourage is opening up to more and more options for him and the Gunners are included in this list. They ‘want to meet’ Mikel Arteta’s side ‘this week’ to discuss the possibility of Gravenberch’s transfer in the next window.
Arsenal want to position themselves to sign the Dutchman if Bayern decide to part ways with him after this season.
Gravenberch has a deal until 2027 and the report adds the Bundesliga side won’t let him leave for a bargain price in the summer.
