For the past few weeks, Jadon Sancho hasn’t been part of Manchester United’s first team after a fallout with Erik ten Hag, and this has resulted in reports linking him to Borussia Dortmund and AS Roma.
Recent claims in the UK have stated the winger is also prohibited from using all the facilities made available for the Red Devils’ senior team.
This is relayed by Sky Deutschland, who then give their own take on the possibility of BVB bringing the Manchester United player back to the club.
The England international spent four years with the Bundesliga side and his fine displays for them convinced the Old Trafford club to invest £73m to acquire his signature in 2021.
The 23-year-old hasn’t managed to replicate his Dortmund form for the Premier League side and after the fallout with the manager, Sky transfer expert Florian Plettenberg claims he wants to leave Manchester United in January.
“The thing will definitely be finished in the winter [market]. He wants to leave and there’s a possibility of a loan because a sale is too expensive for many interested parties,” Plettenberg said.
The journalist further states the Manchester United player has been in “regular contact” with Dortmund manager Edin Terzić. As things stands, Plettenberg claims a return to the Signal Iduna Park is “unrealistic” but a transfer cannot be completely ruled out.
