On Tuesday morning, we covered a story from Corriere dello Sport about Manchester United’s interest in Juventus defender Gleison Bremer.
It was claimed that the Red Devils are seriously targeting the centre-back, although it would take a lot of money to convince the Old Lady to make the sale.
Manchester United’s hunt for Bremer has become a hot topic in the Italian media over the past few months, and now we get to see a couple of more outlets talking about that, including Calciomercato.
The website comes forward to say the Red Devils ‘really like’ the player, who’s ‘constantly among the best’ in his position, and their chase could ‘become concrete’ in the summer.
Juventus, meanwhile, would demand at least €70m for the move.
Quotidiano Sportivo is another one talking about Manchester United’s interest, claiming the Brazilian is a player Erik ten Hag ‘likes a lot’.
It’s said the Red Devils could show up with a big offer to get the Brazilian signed in the summer, although it’s clear that it won’t be easy to convince the Serie A giants.
Right now, Bremer is valued by Transfermarkt at €50m, and has a contract with Juventus running until 2028, which was only recently renewed.
