Well, it appears that Erik ten Hag has truly had enough of David De Gea at Manchester United after his latest performances, even if he did play well against Brighton & Hove Albion.
That’s according to Jutarnji in Croatia, who report that according to ‘well-informed’ sources, the Red Devils ‘want to bring’ Dominik Livakovic to Old Trafford.
To do so isn’t very hard, either, as he has a release clause worth €10m, and Manchester United are ‘ready to pay’ it.
The outlet even admit themselves that it all ‘seems really sensational’, but their sources have assured them the story has ‘solid foundations’ and it really is ‘quite possible’ that the transfer will take place.
It does make some sense, since the Croatia international widely impressed during the World Cup in Qatar, and there was a lot of head scratching as to why the player was still at Dinamo despite excelling for so many years.
Well, it appears Manchester United could be about to rectify that very quickly after his club refused to meet his demands of €1.2m/year for a new contract.
Aside from the Red Devils, it’s also stated that other clubs, such as Villarreal, Galatasaray and Real Sociedad are also keen.
