Over the past few weeks, claims from Italy have talked about the possibility of Sofyan Amrabat returning to Manchester United. The Fiorentina player was on loan at the Premier League side last season, and they decided against exercising the purchase option.
Two days ago, Firenze Viola said his agent is trying to secure the player’s dream of another move to Manchester United.
It was also said the 27-year-old, who has returned to the Serie A side, was seen training wearing Manchester United shorts. Quotidiano Sportivo point that out again and add that he ‘only wants’ to join the Red Devils.
The Morocco international’s future would be away from Fiorentina, and Erik ten Hag’s side remains the ‘most likely destination’ for him. The report mentions another loan deal with Manchester United, and he’s ‘waiting for news’ to sort out his future.
AC Milan are also in the picture to sign him, according to another report from Quotidiano Sportivo. The Rossoneri have identified Amrabat as a backup for Youssouf Fofana, as the AS Monaco player is their main midfield target.
Amrabat is not included in Fiorentina’s plans and the Premier League side can offer him an escape route.
It’s claimed the Red Devils are ‘preparing to make a new offer’ to bring the player back to Old Trafford, without mentioning what they are planning to offer.
