Manchester United’s Tyrell Malacia spent 500 days on the sidelines before returning to the pitch in December.

The left-back has made seven appearances for the Red Devils this season, which includes five starts.

He isn’t the first choice for Ruben Amorim and a report earlier this month stated he has a agreement in place with Manchester United to go out on loan in the winter market.

Diario de Sevilla state the 25-year-old has been offered to Real Betis, who are in the market for a new left-back.

The La Liga side have already signed Antony on loan in this window and can take another Manchester United player. Towards the end of negotiations for the winger, they were offered Malacia.

Manchester United believe Real Betis would be a good option for the Dutchman to regain his best version.

Real Betis have to offload Iker Losada, Juanmi or another player to make a new signing.

Malacia is currently ‘unattainable’ for the Spanish club, and even if he were he hasn’t convinced Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

Diario de Sevilla state ‘no scenario should be ruled out’ and Real Betis may look at Malacia if they can’t sign other targets, but it’s considered unlikely right now.
