Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho continues to be linked with a move to Manchester United, a year after the Red Devils failed to sign him.
On Monday, Bild reported the 21-year-old wants to return to England in the summer, and the Old Trafford club and Chelsea were named as suitors.
It was also stated BVB will not let the winger leave for less than €100m, a figure which would be ‘difficult’ for the two English clubs to match.
Dortmund officials have admitted there’s a gentlemen’s agreement to allow the England international to leave in the next market, provided the conditions laid out by them are satisfied.
Sancho’s current deal runs down in 2023 and another report from Bild provides a fresh update about him.
It’s claimed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are keen on securing the wideman’s signature and they are ready to push for his transfer before the start of Euro 2020 in mid-June. To complete the operation, Manchester United are ‘ready to pay’ over €90m.
Bild add the ‘transfer works’, suggesting the deal could take shape for the aforementioned figure.
After struggling at the start of the campaign, Sancho has regained his form and 14 goals and 18 assists in all competitions this season.
