On Tuesday, several claims from England stated that Chelsea and Manchester United have held talks over a swap deal involving Raheem Sterling and Jadon Sancho.

Calciomercato relay that and then give their own take on the possibility of the Chelsea player joining Manchester United. They have also talked about Juventus’ interest in Sancho.

Enzo Maresca has left Sterling out of his plans at Chelsea this season. Sancho has made one appearance, in Manchester United’s Community Shield loss to Manchester City.

The 24-year-old’s relationship with Erik ten Hag seemed to have improved this summer, but his future would still be away from Old Trafford.

Sancho has ended up on the Serie A side’s target list. It’s claimed Juve technical director Cristiano Giuntoli made contact with the Englishman’s entourage on Wednesday morning.

The Manchester United player wants to accept Juve’s offer and is awaiting developments, before considering other options. This probably including the Blues.

Chelsea have tried to carry out an exchange operation with the two Englishmen. The report says Manchester United aren’t interested in Sterling, which could allow Juve to sign Sancho.

It’s claimed the Serie A side will make their first official offer to the Red Devils in the next few hours. Their aim is to sign him on loan, with Ten Hag’s side covering part of his salary.

Manchester United, on the other hand, are asking for a ‘high sum’, to let Sancho leave on a loan deal. There should be more developments before Friday’s deadline.
