Inter Milan have decided to try signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United this summer, the Italian media says.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Nerazzurri today had a meeting with their new owners and ‘circled in red’ the name of the Red Devils’ fullback.
The story claims that Manchester United are ‘ready to sell’ the player, and the negotiation with the Serie A side is ‘underway’.
The Red Devils reportedly have a valuation of €12m for the transfer. That’s considered a ‘minimum’ for the sale, and TMW actually sounds positive about Inter Milan’s power to get a deal.
The Nerazzurri reportedly have a three-year contract waiting. That would be worth €2.7m per season, and includes the option for an extra year.
Wan-Bissaka was signed by Manchester United in a €55m deal from Crystal Palace back in 2019. With ups and downs this season, he’s made 30 appearances for Erik ten Hag’s side, and actually did quite well in the FA Cup final against Manchester City at the weekend.
Whilst €12m may not seem a lot for Wan-Bissaka, especially given he’s only 26-years-of-age, it will be related to him only having a year left on his contract.
