Juventus have failed to sign Randal Kolo-Muani on another loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain so far this summer and now the Frenchman is reportedly attracting attention from Manchester United and Newcastle United.
The striker spent the second half of last season on loan at Juve and scored eight Serie A goals. Despite the Bianconeri’s best attempts to keep Kolo Muani on loan in Turin, they have not made any progress.
Corriere dello Sport today that after Chelsea made an enquiry for the player ten days ago, Newcastle United and Manchester United have knocked on PSG’s door in the last few hours.
The newspaper claim that the situation of the France international is closely linked to that of Rasmus Højlund.
Juve are alert to the possibility of signing the Dane, especially since Manchester United’s demands for him are cheaper than what PSG want for Kolo-Muani.
The Parisiens are looking to earn €45m from the player’s sale and want an obligation to buy in the deal. So far, Igor Tudor’s side have only offered an option to buy.
Newcastle United see the 26-year-old as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak, with the newspaper of the belief that Juve are still very keen on Sandro Tonali.
They note that even though Kolo-Muani has publicly expressed a willingness to stay at the Old Lady, interest from England can’t be underestimated.
