For a while it’s been reported that interest from Manchester City has impacted Juventus’ Andrea Cambiaso negatively.
The fullback has had a disappointing second half of the season. Apart from having suffered multiple injuries, his performances haven’t been great and he has been criticised for his showings in the past few weeks.
Things are going from bad to worse for Cambiaso and that could impact Manchester City and any interest which remains.
The Italian picked up a thigh injury in Juventus’ game against Bologna and has been ruled out for the upcoming vital game against Lazio.
TuttoJuve have looked at that in the context of interest from the Citizens, stating that the Bianconeri’s valuation will now be much lower than how much it was in the winter transfer window.
Manchester City might have to pay only around €45m in the summer and that is quite close to how much he was valued at last summer. In January, Juve wanted a fee of around €70m but nothing close to that amount was offered.
The indication, once again, is that Pep Guardiola’s side will come forward in the summer and that can decide Cambiaso’s future.
