Manchester United are reportedly one of the clubs who are interested in Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick.

The information is today brought by Yahoo journalist Jorge Nicola, who claims the Red Devils ‘already contacted the player’s staff’.

There are no details on Manchester United’s approach for now, with no claims of an offer made, as the report says the club got in touch to ‘show their interest’.

Endrick is only 15 years old and is starting to get a lot of attention now that he made his debut in Copa São Paulo, which is Brazil’s most famous U-20 tournament.

The striker scored two goals in his first game, and as the competition traditionally gathers scouts from all around the world, it’s no surprise that the news about his future has started to come up.

The youngster holds a highly prolific record of 165 goals and 169 matches at his club’s academy, and many who watched his debut in Copa São Paulo were impressed with his potential.

Since the player only turns 16 in the summer, he has yet to sign a professional contract with Palmeiras.

So for Manchester United or any other club to sign him before that, it’s claimed they’d need to pay ‘200 times what the Verdão spent on financial help, study, training, health and accommodation’.

However, it’s not clear how much that amount would be.
