It’s been a fruitful day for Liverpool news on Wednesday, with a lot of praise for Jürgen Klopp, some Mourinho bashing, a couple of transfer stories, and we’re going to round it all up in one article just for you, because we’re nice like that.
Watzke reckons Klopp can take Liverpool to the top
Clearly still a big fan of his former manager, Hans-Joachim Watzke, Dortmund’s CEO, had a little chat with German newspaper Bild, and was asked if he felt Liverpool could win the Premier League.
His answer? In short, yes. Why? Klopp doesn’t have “English weeks” like his competitors, which is a German favourite term to describe three games in one week.

The former German midfielder, and a Liverpool favourite, was asked by SportBild in Germany to give his thoughts on all the top teams in England, and it was all very nice until he got to Manchester United.
Apparently, José Mourinho’s handling of certain players in the squad isn’t up to scratch, and this could lead him losing the dressing room, and he could be gone sharpish.

Liverpool could go back for Benfica’s Eduardo Salvio
Liverpool reportedly had a deal agreed for Salvio last January, which never materialised.
However, that doesn’t mean they have forgotten all about him, as A Bola claim the Reds had a scout at Benfica’s Champions League game, where Salvio scored.
Is a transfer on the horizon?

Coutinho caught flirting during hotel visit
No, not like that.
Sport in Spain are just very excited that Coutinho could one day become a Barcelona player, and him popping by to say hello to Luis Suarez and Neymar, two good friends, while they were staying in Manchester for their Champions League tie, means he was ‘winking’ at the club and trying to send a message.
Are the Catalan press going a bit over the top? Maybe.

Paulinho is cold and hungry
That’s not what the Liverpool U23 midfielder actually said, but that’s what he was hinting at.
Speaking to Lusa in Portugal, the youngster gave his thoughts on what England was like, his first experience with the Liverpool first-team and whether he will go out on loan or not.
