Liverpool and Barcelona ‘want’ to sign Fenerbahçe’s Arda Güler in the summer, according to Akşam.
The 18-year-old has mainly operated on the right wing, but has also been used as an attacking midfielder and in the middle of the pitch this season, managing six goals and six assists from 34 games.
Güler could finish the season on a bright note by overcoming İstanbul Başakşehir in the Turkish Cup final on Sunday.
It’s further stated both Liverpool and the La Liga side have ‘accelerated attempts’ to add the Turkey international to their squads next season.
Although Jürgen Klopp’s side and Barca ‘want’ Güler, Akşam say there are other European clubs that are seriously interested in securing his services in the next window.
Despite interest from several clubs, Fenerbahçe are hoping to keep the youngster at the club for at least one more year.
