Liverpool’s interest to sign Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham is now discussed in the German and Spanish press.
According to Bild, the Reds are one of the three clubs left in the race to sign the 19-year-old, along with Real Madrid and Manchester City.
It’s claimed Liverpool have been chasing the midfielder for months, but their chances of securing his services are now ‘rated as moderate’.
The England international’s father, Mark, and his agent, Mark Bennett, will deal with the clubs interested. Bild explain they would like to deal with the star’s suitors ‘quietly’, which will likely suit Liverpool.
Over at Marca, they state Bellingham has convinced ‘absolutely everyone’ at Real Madrid after his impressive displays at the World Cup. They have started to consider him as their big target next summer. The teenager is aware of Real Madrid’s interest.
BVB have asked the former Birmingham City man to decide whether he wants to leave next summer.
‘Everything indicates’ he will change clubs and it is now down to him whether to accept Los Blancos’ invitation or join a club in England, where Liverpool are one of his suitors.
According to Marca, Liverpool are the team that’s lurking the ‘most’ around the player.
In need of midfielders, Jürgen Klopp has identified Bellingham and Benfica’s Enzo Fernández as his targets at Anfield.
