As Italian newspaper Tuttosport today writes about the future of Juventus winger Federico Chiesa, Liverpool interest in him is taken very seriously.
Their piece is mostly about the 25-year-old’s attempt to prove himself following the knee injury which left him out of the first part of last season.
That redemption gives him a bigger chance of playing an important role at Juventus, as well as drawing interest from other clubs, and that’s where Liverpool get a mention.
Tuttosport start by claiming that there are ‘English sirens’ for Chiesa, as besides the Reds, the likes of Manchester United and Newcastle United would also give him the chance of moving to the Premier League.
It turns out that when speaking of Liverpool, it’s said the Reds are ‘above all’ the English competition, as their boss Jürgen Klopp is ‘in particular very intrigued’ by the player.
Chiesa made 33 appearances for Juventus this season, and had four goals and six assists in this recovery period.
The player is said to have his future open, and that shall depend on the offers that arrive at Juventus.
