On Wednesday, Sport1 stated Liverpool are keen on signing Ryan Gravenberch and have been in contact with his agent since February. It was also said the Premier League could be his next destination and Bayern Munich may open the door for his transfer.

Jürgen Klopp has demanded the Reds bring in another midfielder before the window closes on Friday and the Merseyside club’s focus is currently on the 21-year-old.

That’s according to Sky Deutschland, who state Liverpool ‘absolutely want to sign’ the Bayern player.

The Netherlands international won’t have a prominent role at Bayern and wants to leave the Allianz Arena. Liverpool could be an option for him but there’s still no agreement in place between the two parties.

Sky say Klopp’s side are negotiating a deal with the Bundesliga winners and the latter are demanding €30m to part ways with the former Ajax man.

Gravenberch is ‘waiting for the final green light’ from Bayern to make a switch to Anfield. If the Premier League side agree a deal with the Bavarian club, the report states there will be progress made in discussing personal terms with the player.

Even though Liverpool want Gravenberch, Sky make no mention of whether they are willing to meet Bayern’s €30m request to sign him.
