As the Italian media continues to speak about Stefano Sensi’s failed transfer from Inter Milan to Leicester City, we now get to see a new update on that situation.
A story from FCInter1908 claims the lack of agreement between the clubs regarding the move’s cost is not the reason why the signing collapsed.
According to the outlet, there was some ‘delay’ from Leicester City regarding the ‘definition’ about the transfer, and there was no time to get around that.
It’s said that as Sensi stays at Inter Milan, ‘little will change’ for him with the Nerazzurri, as he always ‘trained seriously’ and should keep his hierarchy in the squad.
FCInter1908 writes there’s ‘nothing to clarify’ with their manager Simone Inzaghi, as he’s considered a ‘great professional’ and shall continue having chances, having to make the most of them when they are handed to him.
A summer move is still expected, though, as his contract with Inter Milan expires in a few months.
Then we’ll see whether Leicester will still be interested in signing him, this time on a free move, with not many details to think about other than perhaps apologising for what happened over the course of the January transfer window.
