On Tuesday evening, we covered claims from Italy, specifically from Gianluca Di Marzio, that Emerson Royal to AC Milan was back on.
After well over a month of trying to sign the Tottenham Hotspur player for €10m, the Rossoneri had seemingly walked away from the deal and turned to other targets.
The reports didn’t offer any figures or suggestions about what Milan were now offering, however, the assumption was obviously that it would be higher than last time.
Well, perhaps not.
Wednesday’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport reports AC Milan’s €10m offer remains on the table and it’s just a case of waiting for Tottenham to accept, at which point a transfer can be done immediately.
Corriere dello Sport have similar, once again stating the Serie A club are backing on the player’s desire for the move to pressure Tottenham.
Still, surely, there’s absolutely no way Tottenham will accept €10m for the Brazilian. It’s a terrible offer and bordering on delusion from AC Milan.
