Jeremie Boga’s future could be away from Atalanta and Leicester City have been regularly named as one of his suitors.
On December 5th, Il Giorno reported the Serie A side’s chief, Lee Congerton, had proposed the exciting forward to English clubs.
A week later, Calciomercato explained that Leicester could return for the 25-year-old in January after having failed signing him in the summer.
The Ivory Coast international scored in his side’s latest friendly win over OGC Nice and with that, he has ‘sent a clear message’ to both the Foxes and the Serie A club.
That’s at least what Corriere di Bergamo have to say about Boga, and they also provide a short update on Leicester’s plan to secure his services in the winter market.
Having struggled under Gian Piero Gasperini’s orders in the first half of this campaign, he could be enjoying the second half at either Leicester or Fiorentina.
It’s claimed these are the two clubs that are ‘willing to borrow’ the exciting player in January.
The newspaper doesn’t specify as to who among Brendan Rodgers’ side and Fiorentina are ahead in the chase to sign Boga, but perhaps his lack of game time could see him accept Leicester’s advances this time around.
