Leicester City’s Caleb Okoli has been linked with a return to Serie A since the January transfer window.
The defender’s agent even commented on the rumours, confirming that talks were held about a potential Foxes exit. Interest in the Leicester City player is rising again and Corriere dello Sport today report the defender is on Bologna’s shortlist for the summer transfer window.
The Rossoblu are dealing with the possibility of losing both Jhon Lucumi and Sam Beukema and they want to sign multiple centre-backs, with Okoli being seen as a key option.
Bologna sporting director Giovanni Sartori is interested in reuniting with the Italian, with the Leicester City player having worked under him during his time at Atalanta.
Vincenzo Italiano’s side have been briefly linked with Okoli in the past, this though they’ll expect to be able to get a cheaper deal. A lot will be down to the player, and Bologna looks an attractive club especially after their Coppa Italia victory and subsequent qualification for European football.
