Caleb Okoli played 30 minutes for Leicester City during their 4-0 loss to Everton at the weekend.

It was only his fifth appearance of the Premier League season under Ruud van Nistelrooy, and the Italian’s game time has dried up at the King Power Stadium.

Okoli has been linked with moves to Parma and Cagliari in the winter transfer window and it now seems as if a deadline day exit could be gaining momentum.

SportItalia have reported that the Leicester City player’s situation is one worth keeping an eye on.

Parma are interested in him and they could make a ‘last minute’ offer for the defender. The Serie A side want the player on a dry loan deal until the end of the season.

Whether Leicester City accept an offer or not remains to be seen, but this possibility had been reported earlier in the window as well.

The Foxes recently signed Woyo Coulibaly from Parma, and there’s been talk that the move for the Frenchman has established good relations between the clubs. This could help in a potential move for Okoli.
