Some days ago, there was talk that Leicester City’s move for Parma’s Woyo Coulibaly could help the Italian club move for Foxes’ defender Caleb Okoli.
It seems as if the situation is slowly developing. OK Calciomercato have reported on the centre-back’s future at the King Power today, reiterating Parma’s liking for him.
The outlet claim there is ‘concrete’ contact between Leicester City and the Italian side, but the Foxes are yet to reveal their stance about the future of the 23-year-old defender. They are carefully evaluating whether they want to keep the Italian at the club in the second half of the season or not.
As of now, Okoli’s demand is quite clear. He wants to play regularly so that he can move forward his development as a player.
Leicester City know about his stance and that is why they are taking time to make a decision.
If they agree to sell Okoli this month, a move away from the Premier League is not expected to be difficult for the ex-Atalanta man. That is because of the good relations between Leicester City and Parma that have been established because of the move for Coulibaly.
