Leicester City are in the picture to sign Pierre Dwomoh, according to a report from Italy.
The Royal Antwerp midfielder has been out on loan for this season at RWDM and has managed two goals and an assist from 21 games.
His displays for RWDM have seen a few clubs take notice, including Leicester and Inter Milan.
That’s according to FcInterNews, who state the Serie A side continue to keep an eye on the 19-year-old’s development.
The Nerazzurri had also sent a scout to watch the Belgium U19 international live in action against Club Brugge last Friday. His contract with Royal Antwerp lasts until 2024 and they have an option to extend it for another year.
There could be movements with regards to his future next summer and Inter could face competition from Leicester to sign him.
It’s claimed the Foxes have his name on their list, as a ‘possible replacement’ for Wilfred Ndidi. The Nigerian star’s deal expires in 2024 and his future at the King Power Stadium beyond this season remains uncertain.
If Ndidi were to leave, Leicester could consider replacing him with Dwomoh. In addition to Inter and Leicester, Lazio and FC Porto are also monitoring the Belgian.
FcInterNews state Dwomoh’s starting price is around €5m, which could be affordable for the Championship side.
