There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Fenerbahce are now showing interest in Manchester United attacker Jadon Sancho.

The former England international was loaned out to Cheslea last summer and even though there’s a near-obligation to buy the player £25m, there have been recent reports they could pay a £5m penalty to send him back to Old Trafford.

Yeni Asir today report on Fenerbahce’s pursuit of the 25-year-old and they say the Super Lig side are already making attempts to sign him.

It’s claimed Fener manager Jose Mourinho has given his approval to sign Sancho this summer as he looks to bolster his attacking options. The Yellow Canaries will be in the market for a winger, with loanee Allan Saint-Maximin expected to return to his parent club Al-Ahli.

Fenerbahce should expect to face competition to sign the Manchester United owned player following reports yesterday that Istanbul rivals Galatasaray are also monitoring his situation.

With Barış Alper Yılmaz linked with a transfer to the Premier League, Galatasaray being in the market for a winger makes sense.

Sancho has made 39 appearances whilst out on loan Chelsea this season, scoring just four goals.
