Tottenham Hotspur’s Tanguy Ndombele has emerged as an option for Sevilla, according to Vamos Mi Sevilla FC.
Ivan Rakitic and Fernando are both 35 years of age. This, coupled with situations with Oliver Torres [wants a leave] and Joan Jordan [isn’t guaranteed a key role] has seen Sevilla sporting director Victor Orta look for a new midfielder.
It’s stated the Tottenham player has now become an ‘interesting option’ for the La Liga side and their director has held talks with the 26-year-old’s agent over a potential move in this window.
Ndombele was on loan at Napoli last season, where he made 30 league appearances in their title winning campaign, mainly as a substitute.
The report states the Andalusian club are looking to take him on another loan deal, where his salary would be covered by both Sevilla and Ange Postecoglou’s side.
Apart from the Europa League winners, Real Betis and Atlético Madrid have also held talks with the Frenchman’s camp.
Ndombele has struggled since he joined Tottenham in 2019, and the website suggests a move to Sevilla, who are an ‘expert in relaunching careers’, would benefit him.
