Everton’s Idrissa Gueye has to make a decision on his future as his contract at Goodison Park expires in June.

The Senegal international’s contract situation hasn’t impacted his role at Everton. He has been a key part of the Toffees squad this season, making 34 appearances so far.

Gueye is set for a move away from Everton after this season if a report from Africa Foot is to be believed.

Agent Taieb El Idrissi, in collaboration with Roc Nation Sports, manage the 35-year-old. The representative has now given an interview to the outlet to discuss his client’s future.

The agent claims the midfielder is close to making a switch to Saudi Arabia and his exit from the Premier League club is being finalised. He states the Toffees man has received two concrete offers from Al-Ahli Saudi FC and Al-Ettifaq.

Africa Foot don’t relay comments from Taieb El Idrissi mentioning any offers or which club is ahead in the transfer race. However, he does point out Gueye’s role at Everton.

“Idrissa Gueye is like a precious metal: the older he gets, the more his value increases. At 35, he’s still an integral part of Everton’s official squad. He has played 37 [34] matches this season,” he said.

It’ll be interesting to find out the Everton player’s final decision on his future.
