Everton striker Cenk Tosun has promised everyone will see the ‘real’ version of himself once he is up to speed at Besiktas.
Tosun joined the Turkish side on loan at the end of the January transfer window, having been out of the picture under Carlo Ancelotti this season.
He’s made an immediate impact at the club, with two goals on his debut against Genclerbirligi helping his side to a 3-0 win and to stay top of the Süper Lig.
That’s already sparked rumours that the club are looking to secure him on a permanent basis from Everton, with President Ahmet Nur Çebi said to be looking at ways to make that happen.
And he has promised the club will see the best version of him, once he gets himself in prime condition.
“I started well, but I’m not quite ready yet,” the Everton loanee told Asist Analiz.
“I need two or three weeks. After these 2-3 weeks, I will show everyone the real Cenk Tosun performance.
“It doesn’t matter who’s playing. What matters is that our team wins.”
