Fiorentina’s Federico Bernardeschi has been linked with a move to several top European clubs over the past few months.
Bernardeschi has also made 7 appearances for Italy since making his debut under Antonio Conte in March. His agent Dario Canovi has been speaking to Radio Blu (via Passione Inter), and was asked about the ongoing rumours regarding the future of Bernardeschi.
Canovi insists Fiorentina aren’t a big club and can’t compete with the likes of Manchester City or Manchester United financially.
He said: “Florence isn’t a big city and don’t have the economic means to compete with teams likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Barcelona, Juventus or Inter.
Canovi also put a price tag of €35m-€40m on Bernardeschi, and claimed interest from Paris-Saint Germain.
He added: “I knew that until a few months ago there was Paris Saint Germain on Bernardeschi. I think his value is €35-40 million.”
At the moment, there doesn’t seem to be any concrete interest from either Manchester City or Manchester United, and it appears Canovi is trying to attract some attention for his client.
