Tottenham Hotspur transfer target İsmail Yüksek has revealed his desire of making a switch to Manchester United.
On Tuesday, we covered multiple claims from Turkey that the 25-year-old had impressed the Tottenham scout during Fenerbahçe’s UEFA Conference League clash against Royale Union Saint-Gilloise last week.
It was also said Tottenham will send their officials to watch him live in action in the same competition later this week and also during the Turkish Super Cup against Galatasaray next month.
Fotomaç state the ‘rising star’ was speaking at a local event, where he shared his career experience and also talked about wanting to join Manchester United.
“The club I would like to go to in Europe is Manchester United, my childhood dream,” he said, relayed by Fotomaç.
Manchester United signed the midfielder’s former teammate, Altay Bayındır, last summer, and the goalkeeper became the first Turkish player to join the Red Devils.
Yüksek has managed a goal and five assists from 40 games this season and there’s no mention of Manchester United interest in him so far.
Meanwhile, Tottenham have their eyes set on him and will continue to monitor the 25-year-old in the next few weeks. Yüksek’s contract lasts until 2027 and Transfermarkt currently value him at €7.5m.
