Hull City are among the clubs in the picture to sign Eintracht Frankfurt’s Faride Alidou this summer, according to a report from Germany.

The winger joined the Bundesliga side from Hamburger SV in 2022 and was restricted to less than 300 minutes of action in his debut season. Alidou was sent on loan to 1. FC Köln where he managed four goals from 26 matches last season.

He has two years left on his deal, but the player ‘should and wants to leave’ Eintracht Frankfurt in this window.

That’s according to Bild, who name Hull City as one of the interested parties. In fact, they state the Tigers are ‘tempting’, but he’s unlikely to join them.

There’s no mention of the reason for the 23-year-old not favouring a move to Hull City. It’s probably because they are in the Championship and the German has also managed to attract interest from the top division clubs in Italy.

Bild haven’t mentioned the details of these clubs but claim their interest could become concrete soon.

If not, Hull City may stand a chance to secure Alidou’s services late in the window.
